Life to the Full!

Life Coaching

Welcome, and thanks for stopping by!  I’m glad you’re here!  If you’re new to coaching and wonder what all the buzz is about, here’s one way to describe what coaching is: life coaching helps bright, successful people go from where they are right now to where they want to be in one or more key areas of life   So if you know there are changes in your life you want to make – need to make – you’re probably ready for coaching.

What is coaching for?  You can use coaching to address diverse areas of life such as family, finances, health and wellness, spiritual growth, fun and recreation – wherever something is missing or not where it should be.  Coaching is also a powerful way to address career, ministry, or business challenges.  Or maybe like a lot of people you’re just feeling “stuck.”   You’re not sure where you want to go, but you know it’s not where you are; or you know where you want to take your life, but you’re not sure how.  Coaching is perfect for that, too.

What happens in the coaching process?  First, coaching is not counseling. The focus is not to resolve a clinical issue like depression or anxiety.  While the challenge you’re dealing with may trigger some anxiety or hopelessness, that isn’t the focus of coaching.  Instead, coaching  will help you take action in one or more key areas of your life or business by building on your gifts, skills, capacities, and opportunities.  You’ll begin by clarifying the work you want to do and defining the changes you want to make.  Then we’ll identify how you will get there, and work to overcome challenges, celebrate successes, and measure progress as we go.

Meetings are set in advance over the course of at least a month and are usually 25 – 35 minutes in length.  Coaching is most often conducted over the phone – ideal for busy schedules  – though meetings may also occur in person in a variety of settings conducive to the work we’re doing.

While structured, coaching is also extremely dynamic and the process is constantly in motion.  Between meetings I encourage clients to stay in touch by phone, text, and e-mail to share challenges, wins, or ask questions that forward progress and help us stay focused and on track until you have achieved what you set out to accomplish!

Are you ready for a coach?  Are you wondering if coaching could work for you?  If you’d even like coaching?  Whatever questions or concerns you might have, I’d love to hear from you.  If you decide to go forward, as your coach I’ll work alongside you every step of the way as you take your life from ordinary to extraordinary.  So go ahead – put coaching to the test in your life – and give me the chance to help you find life to the full!
